About DeeLightFul Expressions

D’Evian Tramell Porter, affectionately known as Dee, attended Lane Tech from 2015 to 2019. He was proud to attend Lane and loved everything about the school! Dee was known for his sense of humor, positive vibes, and contagious smile. He also played on Lane’s Lacrosse Team and in his honor, the Lacrosse team displayed his name on their helmets during the 2023 season. Dee was a rare and special person, that one-of-a-kind gem who constantly strived to be better each day. He would light up a room when he walked into it and lived a very optimistic life. He was kind, caring, charming, charismatic, and engaging. Simply put, Dee was absolutely DeeLightful.

A gentle giant, Dee was diagnosed with a heart condition in 2021 but he remained positive through every doctor’s appointment and hospitalization. His love for family, friends, music, and Marvel movies allowed him to escape the worries of everyday living.

Sadly, he passed away suddenly on February 6, 2023, at the age of 22 leaving heavy hearts for many. This organizations honors his life and legacy.
